Kyle & Cali's Wedding

Our oldest grandson, Kyle Black was married in the Oakland Temple on June 15, 2013 to Calista Hansen.  It was a beautiful occasion and we were so happy for them.  What a blessing it is to have family members who are willing to sacrifice to share special occasions with their siblings.  We are truly blessed

50th Wedding Anniversary

                           50 fun and amazing years together. 

          We were married on June 15,1962 in the Logan, Utah temple. 

Our children planned our 25th Wedding Anniversary and it was a very nice occasion.  They invited a lot of our friends.  They made us a quilt that each one of them made a block.  It is a treasure to us.

They had an anniversary cake made and used the same bride & groom on top that we had on our wedding cake.

Don & I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2012.  The two of us made a trip to Las Vegas where we saw some shows and ate good food and just had a relaxing time together.  

Our family planned a 50 year celebration for us at one of our favorite locations, Rocky Point, Mexico.  The entire family, except two grandsons, daughter-in-law and great-granddaughter, were there.  We had a family
picture taken.

They planned a fiesta at our favorite Mexican restaurant, where we all enjoyed great food, fun times together, and a beautiful cake.  They made us a very beautiful book of memories that we will cherish.

We thank each of our children and grandchildren for making such memories for us.  We love being with them and they love being with each other.

October General Conference in Salt Lake City

Don & I had a wonderful, memorable, and inspirational experience as we attended the October General Conference in Salt Lake City.  We were able to share the experience with special friends Frank & Virginia Goodrich and Gary & Myrna Packer.   The spring flowers were beautiful, the music by the Tabernacle Choir was so moving, and the talks which were delivered were so inspirational.  

This is an experience that I wish each of my family members could experience, because it really strengthens your testimony.
